How to Reveal Your Saved Wi-Fi Password on Windows 10

Did you just forget your Wi-Fi password? Then you have landed on the right page. In this post, we shall show you a small trick in order to reveal your saved Wi-Fi password. This trick just works fine from Windows 7 to Windows 10. No software is needed and no command prompt commands are to be executed. Just follow the steps accordingly and you are good to go. 

We are assuming you are connected to the internet using Wi-Fi on your Laptop or Desktop PC running Windows 10.

Step 1. On your Windows 10 taskbar to the extreme bottom right side right, right-click Wi-Fi and select “Open network and internet settings“.

Step 2. On the next page, scroll down to find and select “Network and Sharing Center“.

Step 3. On the next page that opens, under Active Connections double click connections that have your Wi-Fi ID displayed.

Step 4. On the following window select “Wireless Properties“.

Step 5. Now select the “Security” Tab on the following window.

Step 6. Once you are in the security tab, just check the option “Show Characters” near Network Security Key.

Step 7. Wholla, you now have the Wi-Fi password. Just note it down somewhere to remember in future.
