Apple had recently launched the Apple watch series 4 alongside iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max, and the iPhone Xr. Apple didn’t disclose any details about the availability of the Apple Watch Series 4 in India as of now. Simultaneously, the company has also cut down the prices of the Apple Watch Series 3 in India. The fresh pricing now starts at Rs. 28,900 for the GPS variant and Rs. 37,900 for the GPS + cellular variant.
The watch measures 10.7 mm in thickness and weighs 48 grams in total. The body is made up of stainless steel frame having all sapphire/crystal back. The GSM + Cellular model comes with e-sim and is ECG certified for the USA only. The device is also waterproof up to 50 meters underwater.
The display on the watch series 4 is an LTPO AMOLED display of 1.78 inches. The display resolution is of 448 x 368 pixels which produce 326 ppi as pixel density. Features 3D multi-touch and sapphire glass on the front for display protection.
The watch from Apple sports watch OS 5.0. It is equipped with Apple S4 chipset on a 64 bit dual-core CPU having power VR GPU. There is no memory card slot but the device has got 16 GB of internal memory. The camera module is missing which was an expectation this time around. There is a built-in loudspeaker and 3.5 mm audio jack is also not present.
Connectivity and Other Features
For connectivity, the watch uses WLAN, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS & NFC. The device also features Accelerometer, gyro, heart rate (USA only) & barometer sensors. It has a battery which performs for approx 18 hours and comes in black, silver and gold colours to choose from.

ECG feature on the Indian variant won’t work initially and the company hadn’t said anything about it coming to India.
