Though we haven’t heard of Intex for quite a long time, they do launch smart phones to the market very silently. Apparently, Intex is in the news where they have announced their new feature phone, the Turbo+ 4G. This feature phone will be having 4G VOLTE support and will not be carrier locked. Which means apart from other players you can also take a JIO SIM which is fully supported on the Turbo+ 4G feature phone.

Along side, the Tubo + 4G Intex also introduced eight other 2G feature phones priced in a range of Rs. 700 to Rs. 1500. Intex has introduced all the nine feature phones under the “NAVRATAN” Series of the company’s new product line.  The company is under preparation and things are cooking up so as to launch the series during Diwali this year.

Intex Turbo +4G VOLTE feature phone is supposed to have 2.4 Inch QVGA display, powered by a dual core processor, 512 MB RAM and 4 GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 32 GB via micro SDcard. It is also said to have 2 MP rear camera and VGA front camera along with 2000 mAh battery.

The Turbo +4G feature phone will be in direct competition with JIO’s JIO Phone which will start retailing in September. As per sources, IDEA is also working on a 4G feature phone which if true will be shipped at an expected and possible pricing of Rs. 2500.
