How To Solve Google Adsense Ad Serving Disabled To Your Site

Well, frankly speaking Google Adsense is the most popular means to monetize any website as it is the only program that pays off well in terms of some serious money. All these days i never use to get emails from the Adsense team, but on November 14, 2012 i got an email from them that clearly mentioned "Google Adsense Ad Serving has been Disabled to Your Site".

At the very first glance i was not sure why this happened to me or if this was a mistake, but after going through the email slowly i came to know that my website was not in accordance with the Google Adsense Policies. My account was not suspended and that was my only relief because once you loose a Google Adsense account , you can never get it back.

The content's of the email were as follows :

This message is to alert you that one of your websites is not currently in compliance with our AdSense program policies and as a result, ad serving has been disabled to your website.

Ad serving has been disabled to:

Example page where violation occurred:

Action required: Check all other remaining sites in your account for compliance.

This includes sites that display copyrighted material, sites hosting copyrighted files, or sites that provide links driving traffic to sites that contain copyrighted material.

Action required : Check account for compliance

While ad serving has been disabled to the above site, your AdSense account remains active. Please be aware that the URL above is just an example and that the same violations may exist on other pages of this website or other sites you own. Therefore, we suggest that you take the time to review the rest of your sites to ensure that they’re in compliance with our policies, and to monitor your sites accordingly to reduce the likelihood of future policy emails from us. Additionally, please note that our team reserves the right to disable accounts at any time if we continue to see violations occurring.

If you wish to appeal this disabling then you can do so by using the Issue ID listed above to contact us via our Help Center:

Thank you for your cooperation.

The Issue got Fixed

Firstly i scanned the entire blog and deleted almost 63 posts that had copyrighted contents on them.

Secondly i removed posts that had hacking or cracking information. Thirdly i also removed a few posts that were not doing great at all.

Last but not the least i made sure i have deleted all the possible articles that were not in compliance with the Adsense policies.

Now i was suppose to make an appeal to the disabling. I headed towards the Appeal a Violation Notification page and used the troubleshooter. After which i contacted the Adsense team via a contact form that looks like the one below.

Where you have to submit Name, Published ID, Issue ID # (one that you get in the email from Google), your site's URL and comments stating what you have to done in order to comply your site with the Adsense policies.

Once you submit the form you will get an email again from the Adsense team contents of which are as follows :

This message was sent from a notification-only email address that does not accept incoming email. Please do not reply to this message.

Thanks for contacting Google AdSense. This an automated reply to let you know that we've received your appeal request.

It looks like you'd like to appeal the disabling of While we're unable to respond personally to this particular message, please rest assured that your request has been submitted for appeal and one of our policy specialists will be reviewing it soon.

You may get this email after a day or two, in my case i got it the very same day when the appeal was made. After this your website will again be reviewed and if you have made necessary rectification you may get your Adsense serving enabled back.

I got it enabled in a day after i appealed against the disabling. Normally it may take 3 to 4 working days and please avoid appealing on weekends.

Finally i got an email again from the Adsense team stating that the Adsense ad serving has been enabled on your website. Email contents were as follows :

Thank you for making the requested changes to your site in order to comply with our policies. After thoroughly reviewing, we have now re-enabled ad serving to this site.

Because ad serving to your site was temporarily disabled, you many notice a delay of up to 48 hours or more before ads begin appearing on your site again. We appreciate your patience and cooperation.

The Google AdSense Team

So now i was happy to get ad serving to my website enabled and made sure to play around with the Adsense policies to avoid such problems in future. Because you may not get lucky the second time.

For the time being ads are not visible on my website as it may take 48 hours or more for the ads to appear since it was temporarily disabled.

Hope you could make out your way in case you are also suffering the same. Let us know your comments.
