The final version of Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Precise Pangolin is here with long term support for the next five years. This version was highly anticipated and users worldwide were waiting to get their hands on it. Their are quite a few major changes made to the version and those make Ubuntu 12.04 a complete operating system for all purposes.

The default music player has been changed from Banshee Music Player to Rhythmbox that also includes Ubuntu One Music Store. An updated version 3.5.2 of Libre Office is also included.

The HUD (Head Up Display) is also an attraction that helps you to access and search menu item quickly and easily. Press the Alt Key and write some letter that will show related item and to execute just hit enter. The search will include all menu entries of the currently focused application, as well as all indicator facilities (like managing emails, sound list, or logging out of the session). It learns from your previous choices to make the search more and more accurate for you.

Nautilus quicklist now supports Unity Launcher. IPV6 and IPV4 are both working  and supported in network manager. Remmina with FreeRDP is the new standard remote desktop client, replacing Vinagre and rdesktop.

Software Center now support payments through Pay Pal. Also you can share app with your friends using a dedicated web directory. The previous version of Ubuntu's Software Center was a bit slow and sluggish, the same have been redesigned and tweaked to get more faster response.
