Today On March 27, 2012 Google was up with its new Doodle that celebrates 126th birthday of German American Architect Ludwig Mies Van De Rohe. He was born on March 27, 1886 in Aachen, Germany. The Google Doodle showcases a building, the crown hall at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago that houses its college of architecture which is in honor of Ludwig Mies. The creative process followed by him was always on a rational approach. Soon he migrated to Chicago in 1937 where he was offered to head the department of architecture of the newly established Illinois Institute of Technology. Unfortunately he died on August 17, 1969 and his ashes were buries near Chicago's other famous architects.
